Josephine Dolores Dennison, 69, of Martinsburg, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Care Haven Nursing Home.

Born December 8, 1948 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Martin Luther and Catherine Virginia Voorhees Dayton.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Dennison; two daughters, Margaret Skaggs and husband Joey of Kearneysville and Betty Burkhart and husband Doug of Ranson; grandchildren, Chelsea Henry, Olivia and Fletcher Skaggs, Taylor and Athena Keck, Jason, Shane and Devin Calhoun, Angela and Courtney Burkhart and Jamie and Kelsey Whittman; 4 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Elizabeth “Cathy” Stubbs, Judy May, and Joan Kline all of Martinsburg.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Stotler; two brothers, Harvey and Clifford Dayton; sister, Rebecca Dayton; and first husband Wilbur Robinson.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Donivan officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service .

Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
