Obituary for Mary Margaret Griffin (Bomgardner)
Mary Margaret Griffin, 82, of Falling Waters passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center.
Born May 23, 1936 in Washington, DC she was the daughter of the late Alvin Herbert Bomgardner and Mary Elizabeth Hogan.
She is survived by four sons, Kenneth David, Stephen John, Keith Edward, and Sean Conley Griffin; seven grandchildren, Sarah Marie DeGuzman, Joshua, Shane, Grace, Marie, Melissa, and William Griffin; two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Mia DeGuzman; one brother, Harry Lloyd Bomgardner; and one sister, Patricia “Patsy” Janik.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Conley Griffin; and two brothers, Alvin Herbert Bomgardner, Jr., and John Edward Bomgardner.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 2:00PM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Dawn Reidy officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:00PM prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Harmony Cemetery.
