Obituary for Barbara Ann Jacko (Finckenor)

Barbara Anne Jacko, 57, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at her home while under the care of Hospice.

Born February 14, 1961, in Passaic, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Edward Finckenor and Corinne Ella Gerald Finckenor.

Barbara was a member of St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Martinsburg, WV. Where she sang in the choir and was active in the St. Vincent De-Paul Society.

She was a Scientist and was employed at Lonza, Inc.

She is survived by her husband, John Sergius Jacko, of Martinsburg; one son, John Lawrence Jacko, of Martinsburg; one daughter, Christina Nicole Jacko, of Martinsburg; one brother, Jeffrey L. Finckenor and wife Miria, of Huntsville, AL; and a brother in law, Jeffrey Payne.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lauretta C. Payne.
Family will receive friends on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Gallagher and Father Conan Celebrants. Internment will be private.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Barbara’s name to the St. Vincent De Paul Society c/o St. Joseph Catholic Church, 336 South Queen Street, Martinsburg, WV 25401
