Donald Conrad  Becker
Donald Conrad Becker, 86, of Hedgesville, WV, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 at his home, under the care of his loving wife and son.

Donald was born on October, 30, 1931, in Reading, PA, and was the son of the late Stewart F. Becker and Ruth Conrad Becker.

Donald was a graduate of Reading High School and served during the Korean War in the United States Air Force. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Michigan State University, Lansing, MI.

Donald spent his career as a salesman beginning with Proctor and Gamble. He owned a ski lodge in Stowe, VT in the early 1970’s where he learned to love downhill skiing. He ended his professional career with Cunard Cruise Lines in New York City which fulfilled his desire to see the world with his beloved wife, Judith.
Donald was and elder with Gerrardstown Presbyterian Church. He was an avid golfer and a lifelong New York Yankees fan.

Donald is survived by his loving wife, Judith, his son Jeffrey C. Becker, Hedgesville, WV, his daughters Wendy (Paul) Moniz, Alexandria, VA, and Jill (Mike) Armogida, Frederick, MD, grandchildren, Grace Armogida, Beck Moniz, Ben Armogida, and Sophie Moniz, and devoted brother, Fred Becker of Mohrsville, PA.

A celebration of life service will be held at Gerrardstown Presbyterian Church, Gerrardstown, WV on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gerrardstown Presbyterian Church, Christian Education Fund in honor of Donald Becker.
