Obituary for Calvin Leroy Brown

Calvin Leroy Brown, 72 of Summit Point passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at home under the care of hospice and surrounded by his loving family. Born April 16, 1946 in Clear Brook, Virginia, he was the son of the late Harry Randolph Brown and Mary Eliza Brown. He worked for Seneca as a landscaper. He is survived by his wife, Lynda Jean Underwood Brown, two sons, Carl Brown of Summit Point and Calvin Brown, Jr. of Middleway, three daughters, Belinda Brown of Summit Point, Barbara Brown of Ranson and Cynthia Brown of Charles Town, four brothers, Johnny and Carl Brown of Winchester, Clyde and Ronald Brown of Inwood, three sisters, Mary Sharon and Rosie Brown, eleven grandchildren and six great grand- children.. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Luke and John Brown, one brother and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Brown Funeral Homes South Berkeley Chapel with the Brother Bobby Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
