Obituary for Gina Lynnette Grove (Gregory)

Gina Lynnette Grove, 46, of Inwood, WV, passed away June 2, 2018 surrounded by her family. Gina was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend.

Born July 19, 1971, in Martinsburg WV, she was the daughter of Donna and step-father, Terry Mitchell and Jimmy Gregory and Kathy Householder. She has also been a daughter to her in laws, Olen and Carolyn Grove, for more than 16 years.
Gina’s dedication to her children and husband was vividly clear in everything she did. Dedicated to each activity, sport, school event, report card, Lego set or video game. People that knew her on the soccer field will remember her cheering so loud for
Olivia that she would be hoarse by the end of the game. She enjoyed every minute of time with her son Trey talking about his day and hearing about his newest adventure with building a Lego masterpiece or conquering a new level in his games. Her children were her joy.

Gina was an amazing woman who, for the last 3 years, fought a difficult battle with an aggressive rare cancer. She handled this challenge with grace and dignity throughout. Her fiery spirit, warrior attitude, and kindness will be greatly missed and remembered in everything she did with her time here.

Gina is survived by her husband, of 16 years, Chip and beloved children, Olivia and Trey. She is also survived by her parents Donna and Terry Mitchell and Jimmy Gregory and Kathy Householder, grandparents, Lillian Wood and Jackie Mitchell-Russell, step siblings, Tiffany Householder, Savana Householder, Jamie Gregory, Dawn Tanner, Jamie Ayers and Cohleen Vassey, her in-laws, Olen and Carolyn Grove, Dawn and Richie Cookus, Clay and Susie Grove, Suzanne and Mike Earley, Dana and Thomas Henry, Tyler Grove, Troy and Jaclyn Grove and Sean Grove, her nieces and nephews, Chance, Aubrey, Erin, John, Mason, Tucker, Rosie, Evan and her many aunts, uncles and extended family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, June 9th at Bunker Hill United Methodist church located at 9863 Winchester Ave, Bunker Hill, WV.
In Lieu of Flowers, Gina’s family would appreciate donations in her name to be made to the following GoFundMe page (https://www.gofundme.com/ginaswarriors), Hospice of the Panhandle (online: http://www.hospiceotp.org/plan-for-today-one-time-and-recurring-gifts, mail: 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430), or Bunker Hill United Methodist (Building Fund, 9863 Winchester Ave, Bunker Hill, WV 25413).
