Obituary for Bonnie Carol Binkley (Bond)

Bonnie Carol Binkley, 68, of Martinsburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at the Clary Grove Nursing Home. Born October 30, 1949, in Ranson, she was the daughter of the late Jack Leon Bond, Sr. and Ollie Domer Bond. Bonnie was a born-again Christian and attended services at the Victory Tabernacle Assembly of God, Hedgesville. She enjoyed singing and had sung with the Trinity Gospel Assembly of God choir. She received an Associate of Arts Degree in Christian Theology from the Lamplighter College of Theology. She had worked as a custodian for the Jefferson County Board of Education, and, prior to that, had been a welder for Dixie Narco. Bonnie is survived by her son: Shawn Plotner, of Hedgesville, and companion Vicki Barthlow, of Martinsburg; one sister, Katherine Knotts, of Shenandoah Junction; two grandchildren: Logan Plotner and Tabitha Scott; and 3 great grandchildren: Michael, Aubrey, and Landon Scott, as well as her church family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Plotner, Jr, “Tate,” and her brother Jack L. Bond, Jr.
Funeral Services will be held 12:00 pm, Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Bishop Sterling Porter officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
