A Laugh To Remember

One of my closest childhood friends. The things she, Stacey and I would get into!!! I feel horrible, I can't remember the last time we spoke to each other. One of the last times I saw her I ran into her at Walmart and I couldnt even hug her because she was lathered in poison ivy and Calamine lotion. But I will always remember and cherish our memories: Sled riding on Church Street with the cute boys, playing hide and go seek in the cemeteries, sneaking around behind our parents back, Jefferson Memorial Park, strolling the streets of Charles Town in pack, Stacey's Mom catering to us during slumber parties, our seance at Gina's house, make up and dress up fun, singing Patsy Cline, making Stacey laugh until she peed herself, Gina coming to my wedding in a bright red, low cut, form fitting dress that is totally appropriate now but wasn't then.... but she looked gorgeous and knew it! It was her and it was perfect. Can't forget our plan to run away as stow always on a train with a few other girl friends, yet neither of us had any true reason to run away! Hahaha! (Stacey's Dad still talks about that story!) I loved Gina's spunk, confidence, love for adventure, her smile and that laugh!!!! Your life was cut short, but you lived it to the fullest. RIP Gina. I will NEVER forget you!
