Obituary for Frances Markley (Smith)

Frances Markley, 90, of Martinsburg passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at her residence.

Born May 18, 1927 in Bunker Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late Earl Dewey and Ada Virginia McFillan Smith.

She liked to shop and travel. She was family orientated and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren where her life.

She is survived by one son, Terry Markley and wife Connie; two daughters, Barbara Noll and husband George, Mary Daniels and husband Denny; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and her siblings, John W. Smith, Mildred Taylor, LuluBelle McKay, Martha Johnson, Joe Smith, and Larry Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Otis Markley; two sons, Harold Otis Markley, Jr., Roger Dale Markley; one grandson, Dennis Daniels, Jr.; and two siblings Earl Smith, Jr. and Reva Miller.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Pleasant View Memory Gardens Mausoleum with interment in the cemetery.
