When I first moved here and started a new school, Avery became one of my first friends. We were just 5. He was one of the first and only kids to be friends with me and anyone else with open arms and a huge smile that almost never left his face. I remember the funny things he would do in our school years together all the time, he was just someone who sticks in your mind. He was definitely a great person to remember. We grew up together all the way through high school. Even then, when I didn't have many friends in class and was sort of alone, Avery was willing to talk and give some laughs to accompany me. He was hilarious and so kind to me and everyone he came across. Watching Avery grow up alongside me and just remembering his affectionate smile warms my heart. The best people are the first to go, unfortunately. But Avery will never leave us in spirit and he is in God's company, forever having the paradise he deserved. I will never forget you buddy. Thank you for all the memories and being a friend that I had the honor to grow up with.
