Donald Lee James, 52 of Shenandoah Junction passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 in the Hospice Inpatient Facility. Born March 21, 1966 in Leesburg, Virginia he was the son of the late Alonzo Wesley James and Sylvia Meria Gilley James.
He was a pipe layer for the Atlantic Construction Co. Donald was an avid Redskin fan, his hobbies were fishing and going to concerts. He loved taking his grandkids to Hershey Park.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Ann Sherman James, three daughters, Stephanie James of Shenandoah Junction, Ashley James of Ranson and Tara James of Charles Town, one brother, Randall James and wife Sally of Harpers Ferry, one sister, Melissa Shifflett and husband Roderick of Cross Junction, Virginia and three grandchildren, Vanessa, Alani and Deshawn.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Dr. Henry Christie officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at the Chapel.
