Condolence From: Kathy A Volunteer Minister
Condolence: To The Family,
I did not know Janice Lamp, nor do I know her family, but at times like this I think of one of the many segments that made up God's original plan for mankind, showing love for one another. (Leviticus 19:18) As a volunteer minister I read obituaries columns on a regular basis. My goal is to make an earnest effort to comfort the surviving family members during their grieving period. No words will ever take the pain of losing a loved one in death. But I pray that God will hold each of you in his loving arms and bring you comfort. Please keep in mind: "God is for us a refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress."
(Psalm 46:1).

Condolence: Dear Lamp Family,

Sending prayers to you all in the loss of Mrs. Lamp. I am so sorry that I did not learn of her passing until after her visitation/service! As you know, and as others have said, your Mom was one special lady. I always admired her strength and courage in how she managed to work, raise her boys, attend countless athletic events and always have a smile on her face! For me she defined grace. Herky and OJ, I knew you and Robbie the best. Please know that I am asking God to rock you gently in his hands in the times ahead and that my husband, Greg and I will continue to prayer for you and your families. Much love and a big hug to all.

Condolence: Although Janice was no longer married to my cousin, we always considered her our cousin.

We loved chatting with her when we would see her and she always greeted us with a smile.
My thoughts and prayers to all the family.

Condolence: Dear James, Brothers & Extended Family:
We were so saddened to hear of your Mothers passing. She was a ‘Woman Extraordinar’❤️ Never saw her that she didn’t have a Smile! My Mother (Dolores) & father all went to school together- In fact our Mothers were both in the recent picture in the paper of the Martinsburg 1949 students giving apples at the train station. I had your Mom as a patient at Canterbury a few years back - it was the first time I’d seen you since Little League!!
I am in Martinsburg this week taking care of my Dad who just got out of the hospital- we wanted to come to the service but he is still to weak.. So sending our Condolences & our Love ❤️. Your Mom touched many lives & she will be missed by many..😢
Love to All..

Condolence: Heaven should be a little brighter tonight with Janice up there. I first met her when she started teaching at Winchester Avenue School. She was such a beautiful and nice lady, and a wonderful teacher. I will always greatly admire her for taking care of her children while getting her teaching certificate and teaching! She was truly a woman to be respected and admired. My condolences to her family.
