Marion Ruth (Fellows) Alderton, 89, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 13, 2018 in Martinsburg, WV.

She was born November 27, 1928 in Lansing, Michigan.

She was a bookkeeper and retired from Old National Bank.

She was of the Christian faith and an officer of the Salvation Army.

She is survived by her son, Dale M. Birmingham, of Martinsburg, WV and five grandchildren Andrew C. Birmingham, Karen R. Sims, Carrie L. Birmingham, Krista D. Barfield and Holly A. Peacock; seven great-grandchildren and one sister Helen Growbowski.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lovell A. Alderton; son, Andrew G. Birmingham III, and daughter, Charlene D. Birmingham.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant View Memory Gardens with Major Tom Guilliams officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army at 111 Ellis Street Martinsburg, Wv 25404.
