Edward Andrew Kelchner, 89, of Bunker Hill, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the VA Medical Center, in Martinsburg.

Born September 18, 1928 in Frederick County, VA, he was the son of the late Justin Sirus Kelchner and Eva Virginia Lowery Kelchner.

He retired from General Motors. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korea War. He was also a VFW officer as well as a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge.

He is survived by one daughter, Cathy Price; two stepdaughters, Donna Paige, Sharon Linton; one stepson, Donald Trenary, Jr.; fourteen grandchildren, Deborah, Donna, Adrian, Deana, Jeffrey, Kayla, Sammy, Jr., Tommy, Robbie, Jennifer, Taylor, Brett, Justin, and Amanda; eighteen great-grandchildren; four brothers, James A., Paul V., Roland E., and Daniel Kelchner ; four sisters: Mary Holt, Margaret Clowser, Joan Sullivan, and Patricia Kelchner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilda Pauline Jenkins Kelchner and his second wife, Stella M. Trenary Kelchner; a daughter, Martha Ann Moats; five brothers, Lawrence D., John J., Donald M., George M. and Justin C. Kelchner.

Family will receive friends on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m.Tuesday, April 24, at the chapel with Pastor Hank Caton officiating.

Interment with Military Honors will be held in Rosedale Cemetery
