Obituary for Paul Herbert Wood
Paul Herbert Wood, 79, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born August 13, 1938, in Hedgesville, WV, he was the son of the late, Harry Hilton Wood and Marry Woodrow Dunn Wood.
He retired from Mack Truck Company with 40 years of service.
Paul loved woodworking, camping, and enjoyed eating out.
He is survived by four sons, Kenneth “Eugene” Wood, Douglas Hilton Wood, Scott Randall Jenkins, Michael Kenneth Jenkins; two daughters, Deborah Kay Wood, Patricia Gayle Wood; eight grandchildren, Emily Renee Wood, Eric Robert Wood, Jarin Scott Jenkins, Jeremy John Riley, Brandy Myers, Dustin Ross Jones, Jesse Levi Wood, Jamie Pounds; and one sister, Grace Householder.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Louis Tutwiler Jenkins Wood; two brothers, Ray Wood, Boyd Lee Wood, and a sister Alice Keesecker.
Family will receive friends Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel with Pastor Kyle Hamlin officiating. Interment will be private.
