Condolence From: George D. Pitzer III
Condolence: I knew Connie from our days at Musselman High School. He was a really great person and I knew him and his siblings. My Mother (Annabelle Orr) taught History and Journalism and she always liked all the Roberts kids. Connie is remembered by me and I will not ever forget what a great kid he was in school.

Condolence: When we moved to WV in 2010 and started to Bunker Hill UMC, Connie was one of the first people to greet us. He was always willing to help in anything that needed doing at church or other places. We were at Bunker Hill UMC for Christmas Eve 2017 communion service, and Connie met us almost as soon as we entered the door of the sanctuary. We thought about the call he made to us last year in Alabama. Our sympathy to his family. He will be missed.

Condolence: Please accept my condolences on the passing of Connie. It was an honor and a pleasure to have known him as one of my students at Musselman High School, as a friend, and as a brother in Christ. May you be comforted by the fact that Connie will be cherished in the memories of the many, many people whose lives he touched.

Condolence: I have so many wonderful memories of Connie and his family. I will surely miss his presence in my life but we will just as surely meet again in a Joyful reunion.

As I write this I can see Connie in my mind’s eye gracefully dancing across the floor in the old auditorium at Musselman High. It is lunch time, we are in the dancing room and he is smiling beautifully as always.

Condolence: Connie was my barber for many years and our condolences go to his family at this time of sorrow. His personality was a shining light and it's sad that he didn't get to enjoy his retirement any longer than he did . He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Love & prayers to the entire family. Condolence: The right words evade me at the moment. The sudden loss of Connie is overwhelming after 20 odd years of his friendship. I will miss his humor and companionship greatly. From a barber's chair to a lunch table at the Dining Room, he was always a delight to be with. He was always there if I asked, as I sailed past 80 years old at 90 miles an hour. I choose to remember all the fun things as we pushed each other's buttons to get a rise out of the other. He was and always will be a special person in my life. Go in peace Connie, I will miss you.
