Obituary for Timothy Lee Jainniney-McKee

Timothy Lee Jainniney-McKee
Timothy Lee Jainniney-McKee, 53, of Roanoke, VA passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born September 10, 1964 in Martinsburg, WV he is the son of Shirley Ann Britner Jainniney and the late Elmer Lee Jainniney, Jr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his spouse, Martez McKee-Jainniney; two foster children, Zeak Benson and Brandon; one brother, Jerry Jainniney and wife, Teresa; and niece, Gabrielle.

Eulogy to my husband: He was a great man who was a very caring, honest, and loving person. He taught me fellowship, unconditional love, and over all management of my life. He was such an angel to anyone he came in contact with and has saved many lives. We fostered many children. He had so much love to give he gave love back to those in need. He was a strong man of God and lived through His love and word every day. He was a great husband, man, and father. I will miss him dearly.

Tim was a resident of Roanoke, VA and most recently worked in management for a local, rapidly growing mental health support agency, and an ordained, independent minister. He was in credentialed ministry of some form since 1985. After working for Citicorp/Citibank for 10 years, he relocated to Virginia in ministry, working a few jobs which included a veterinary assistant/office manager, as a high-risk population educator/outreach specialist for a local non-profit, and worked for a local mental health agency from May 2006 to October 2012, having started there as a mental health supports clinician.

He was co-founder and Senior Pastor of a new non-denominational, progressive church in the Roanoke, VA area. He was also a proud foster parent and had worked as a personal care assistant/provider.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Christopher Yopp officiating.
