Charles Walter "Mike"  Everhart
Charles W. “Mike” Everhart, 77, of Martinsburg, passed away March 25, 2018 at his residence under Hospice care.

Born October 1, 1940 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late James A. Everhart, Sr. and Marguerite (Sigler) Everhart.

Charles is survived by his wife of 60 years, Edna Patricia Everhart; one son, Charles Scott Everhart and wife Sandra; 3 daughters, Vickie Elliott, Susan Weisenburg and husband Terry, Christine Adams and husband Ronald; 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; one brother James A. Everhart, Jr.; several nieces and nephews and many more close family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon R. Henry and Wray M. Tedrick, a son-in-law, Gideon Elliott, Sr.

He was a member of Bedington United Methodist Church and employed by Martinsburg Paper Box Factory as a printer retiring in 1995. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and hanging out at the “tree stand”.

Family will receive friends on March 28, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Service will be held at Bedington United Methodist Church on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Walter Bowers and Scott Summers officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to Hospice of The Panhandle or Bedington United Methodist Church Care Ministries.
