Virginia Imogene  Rife
Virginia Imogene Rife, 88 of Martinsburg, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Clary Grove.
Born July 4, 1929 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Frank Turner and Hilda Viola Bartles Ramsburg.
She is survived by two sons, Jack W. Rife, Jr. and wife, Sharon of Martinsburg; Michael Rife and wife, Laura of Boston, Massachusetts; four grandchildren, Saunny R. Winstead and Brian Franks; Miriam Rivette and husband Christian, Chrissy Rife, and Ryan “Chris” Rife and wife, Tracy; a great-grandchild, Tayler R. Winstead; two great-great-grandchildren, Brayden A. Winstead and Aybree Belle Winstead: sister- inlaw Millie Rife; and nephew, Billy Rife and wife Chris
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jack W. Rife, Sr.; two brothers, Calvin Ramsburg and wife Evelyn and Carlton Ramsburg; a sister Bernadine R. Thompson and husband Max, and brother-inlaw Bill Rife.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Clary Grove for the excellent care, kindness and compassion in her final years.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Rosedale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be in her name to Alzheimer’s Disease Research 225 North Michigan Avenue Fl. 17 Chicago, IL 60601or to the Shriners Hospital for Children of Boston, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114 or to St. Jude’ Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
