Obituary for Charlotte Virginia Kane (Strobridge)

Charlotte Virginia Kane, 85, of Bunker Hill passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

Born March 13, 1933 in Martinsburg, WV she was the daughter of the late Charles Strobridge and Lena Puffenberger Strobridge Kane and step-father, Franklin Porter Kane.

She was a member of Bunker Hill Presbyterian Church. She was a retired cook with the Berkeley County Schools.

She is survived by two sons, Andrew S. Kane and wife Jane; Shawn M. Kane and wife Joanna; and one loving granddaughter Emerson Noel Kane.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Edgar Stewart Kane.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Rev. Ron Potter officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel.

Interment will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
