The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Randy Elms can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The horse that got away

It always surpised me when I showed up at Randy's house.  He always had something going on. This particular day when I arrived I heard the hoofs of a horse in the back yard.  Randy was riding this beast of a horse back in forth along the fence line.  I asked him where he got this stallion and he "being Randy" stated I bought it in Jones Spring and rode it home from there.  After a bit of laughter I was allowed to ride the horse after it had been grazing in the front yard.  He got me up on the horse, my first time on one, and it proceeded to head down Mountain Lake road heading for Jones Spring.  I didn't know what to do but finally I was able to dismount and keep hold of the horse.

Once Bud, Randy's dad got home, it was decided the horse had to be returned.  A little sad for Randy but he always had a way of making life fun...
