Megan Ann Messick, 31, of Martinsburg passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018.

Born March 24, 1986 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of Michael Messick, Sr. and Lisa Shifflett.

Megan was a member of Shenandoah Bible Church.

She is survived by two sons; Thomas Young and Isaiah Bailey; a daughter, Alexis Young; two brothers; Michael Messick, Jr. (Michelle Griffin) and Jason Messick (Dawn); and a sister; Crystal Messick (Christopher Shifflett); loving aunts and uncles, Sharon and Larry Penwell, Michael and Crystal Shifflett, James and Bobbi Jo Shifflett,Terry Shifflett, and Dennis and Marie Messick and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Ray; grandparents, Tony Hallerd Messick, Margaret Messick and Ernest Shifflett, Sr.

It was Megan’s wish to be a Human Gift of Life.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on March 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in War Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Brown Funeral Home in Megan’s name.
