The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Cornell Doleman can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Jeanette Saunders
Condolence: Isaiah 38:10 says, “In the prime of my life must I go through the gates of death and be robbed of the rest of my years?” There should have been so much more ahead for Cornell.

Yet, we are not left without hope, for God promises to do away with sickness and death and the distress they cause—permanently! Rev. 21:4 says “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” We know this will happen because God gave Jesus the authority to heal the sick and power to raise the dead. Jesus will bring back to life those who sleep in death just as he did for his friend Lazarus. (John 11:39-44)

The Bible’s promise of a resurrection does not eliminate the pain of losing a loved one. But imagine the prospect of being reunited with Cornell. May the thought of being able to embrace him again make your pain easier to bear. An encouraging video “Is there Hope for the Dead?” can be found at jw.org. My sincere condolences are with you.
