Obituary for C. James Cloud

C.  James  Cloud
C. James Cloud, 91, of Hedgesville passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born June 23, 1926 in Cumbo, WV he was the son of the late Charles Lloyd Cloud and Elvira Mae Sperow Cloud.

He is a veteran of the United States Army. He was a lifelong farmer in Berkeley County. He retired after 31 years from Corning Glass. He was a lifetime member of Falling Waters Presbyterian Church, member of Farm Bureau, and a member of the Eastern Shore Threshermans Association.

He is survived by two sons, Robert M. Cloud and wife Brenda, James L. Cloud and wife Marcy; two grandchildren, Tyler James Cloud and fiancee Ashley King and Jacob Ashby Cloud and wife Stephanie; one great granddaughter, Hayden Cloud; one step great granddaughter, Baileigh Spickler; and two sisters, Gladys Burcker and husband Robert, and Rebecca James.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Thomas Cloud; and one sister, Mary Catherine Cloud Payne.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 11:00AM at Falling Waters Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. John W. Cushwa and Rev. Debra McKune officiating. Interment will be in Falling Waters Presbyterian Cemetery at Spring Mills.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Falling Waters Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, 2928 Hammonds Mill Road, Hedgesville, WV 25427.
