Cathy Wilma Stanley, 63, of Martinsburg went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at her residence after her five year battle with lung cancer.
Born December 14, 1954 in Berkeley Co., WV she was the daughter of the late William Jacob Dicks and Justine Elizabeth McCain Rush.
She had been employed as a shift supervisor for 35 years with Peoples Drug Store then CVS.
She was a loving wife, mother, and maw maw. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church and loved attending church. She was a wonderful cook and "the best". Christmas was her favorite holiday and she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Terry Stanley; three daughters, Laura Church and husband Stacey of Martinsburg, Terri Staley of Martinsburg, and Kimberly Staples and husband Jeremy of Hagerstown, MD; four grandchildren, Tyler Church, Hunter Staley, Dylan Staley, and Logan Staples; and two brothers, Jackie Dicks of NC and Kenneth Dicks of Inwood and their families.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM and 2:00PM to 4:00PM immediately followed by services at 4:00PM with Pastor Dave Mosser officiating at Calvary Bible Church, 501 Faulkner Avenue, Martinsburg, WV. Following the ceremony family invite friends to Second Baptist Church of Martinsburg, 911 N. High Street, Martinsburg, WV for light refreshments and prayer.
