The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Toni Braxton

I want to extend my sincere condolences to the Adams family. I have known Terry for more than 20 years. We met in the early 1990s. We worked together in the National Capital Region, Office of Communications until he retired in 2012. Even after his retirement Terry and I remained friends. Terry was a professional photographer for the office, he always told me, being a photographer for the National Park Service was one of the most exciting and demanding positions he had ever held. When we talked, which was a lot, he would say, “ our work puts us right in the mix of everything - national events, First Amendment demonstrations, and presidential inaugurals.” Terry really enjoyed working the Fourth of July national fireworks celebration, that was his favorite. He always photographed the national fireworks from the top of the Netherlands Carillon in Virginia. He alway said he got the best views there. I was talking to a mutual co-worker of ours, Leonard Lee and he said, “thank God for memories.” Leonard reminded me of one of Terry‘s famous sayings when he photographed individuals at different ceremonies. “A little more happiness please,” Terry would always say. Terry and I had a great friendship he always kept me laughing. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Nicole, Kyung and family during this difficult time. May the love of those around you, help you through the days ahead. We can shed tears that he is gone or we can smile because he has lived. Farewell my friend Toni Braxton
