Condolence From: John Crummett
Condolence: So sorry to hear about Steve's passing. Condolences and prayers go out to his family and friends. Hard to believe my last contact with him was at WVU in the mid 60's. Growing up in Franklin I was friends with Steve and with his brothers, especially Eugene. Amazing how time flies. Again so so sorry to hear about Steve's passing and at too early an age!

Condolence: I send my condolences to Steve's family. I enjoyed sitting with him in the Methodist Church balcony during services. Often I would see him walking his dog when I would be on my way to work in the morning and from my office window later in the day. He was a good person.

Condolence: I'll miss you even more as time goes by, Pop. Things keep happening that I want to tell you about and then I remember. I'll do my best to take care of Mom. One day, I was supposed to be over at the house by 4PM to help Mom prepare for getting you to the hospice. I was late as a customer needed something at a quarter to 4PM and I hustled over after. When I arrived, the ambulance was already there and they were getting ready to transport you. When I explained my tardiness, you said without irony, "Well, yes, business first." That was you all over. You put my success in my career above helping you when you needed it.
