The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joyce Ludwick can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Mrs. Ludwick was my favorite teachers at Hedgesville High School. She was very well respected by many others. We loved hearing stories of her young boys. She challenged me to get straight A's....which I started to do...eventually graduated 5th in the Class of 1982. May God bless her and she rest in peace.

Condolence: I had Mrs Ludwick as a teacher at Hedgesville High. She was a very nice lady. I last spoke with her last summer while we were picking up our grandchildren from bible school at Falling Waters Presbyterian Church. It was really good to see her. My thoughts and prayers are with the Ludwick and Barr families. Hang onto your memories and that will help you through this difficult time. God Bless.

Condolence: I never had Ms. Ludwick as a teacher, but I always heard wonderful things about her teaching from my classmates. I chatted with her a few times while I was a student, and will always remember her for her smile and wonderful personality.

Condolence: Adam,
My heart goes out to you and Julie and your family. I have known you almost all my life. You and I have been friends and "kinda" neighbors since we were kids. Your mom was a great influence in my life. As a Neighborhood Mom, a teacher, and friend. She was a wonderful lady and I know I'll never forget her. May she rest in comfort and may God be with you and your family. Much Love and Many Prayers.
