Obituary for Dorothy Marie Hill (Cordell)
Dorothy Marie Hill, 70, of Martinsburg, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at her home.
Born January 22, 1947, in Clarksburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late James Detes Cordell and Ella Gossard Cordell.
She was a devoted family lady, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was owner of the Corner Cafe.
Dorothy is survived by two sons, Jerry Hill, Jr. and wife Amy, Leslie Hill and fiance Jodie Servis; Three daughters, Cathy Hill, Wendy Wines, and Donna Musgrave and husband, Brandt; seven grandchildren, Dallas Wines, Carmen Walters, Tommy Puffinburger and wife Stephanie, Jamie Hill, Jason Hill, Carolyn Hill, and Katie Hill; four great grandchildren, Gavin Wolf, Atticus Walters, Harlee Hill, and Julian Hill; two sisters, Janet and Judy.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley, Betty and Sandy; three grandsons, John, Duncan, and Benny.
The family would like to give a special thank you to their cousin, Tyke Thumma.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 2:00 to 4: 00 p.m. prior to the service at Brown Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's Name to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
