Theodore Austin  Strausbaugh
Theodore Austin Strausbaugh, 83, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018.
Born January 28, 1934 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Robert and Mary Small Strausbaugh.
Theodore served in the Navy, 1952 to 1955, was a lifetime member of Edge Grove Fire Company, PA and Porters Community Fire Company, PA. He was a member of Pikeside United Methodist Church. He will be missed by his companion, Seneca. His dog is looking for him to come take her for a walk.
He is survived by his second wife of 13 years, Arlene Melinda (Twigg) Strausbaugh; children, Elaine Strausbaugh, of Hagerstown, MD, Sue Roth, of Martinsburg, WV; four step-children, Donald E., of WV, Ronnie, of VA, , Allen B. Twigg, of NJ, and Edith Christina Smith, of PA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Ann Lease, Linda Griffin, of Hanover, PA, and Barb Moran, of Atlantic, PA; and four brothers, Albert and Fred, of Hanover, PA, Irvin, Abbottstown, PA, and Gary, Red Lion, PA.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Annie (Nace) Strausbaugh, married 47 years; one daughter, Lori Ann Strausbaugh; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Erie Wine.
Memorial service on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 4:00PM at Pikeside United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Ball officiating. Receiving 3:00PM one hour prior to the service at the church. A luncheon will follow the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SPCA or St. Jude's.
