The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Martin Shade can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Sandy, Larry, Mike & Mary, it is hard to know the right words to express how sincerely sorry we are. Marty was a kind & quiet neighbor. He always had a friendly wave for us whenever we would pass by him on our drive home down the lane, & friendly words for Antonio whenever he would pass by him riding his bike down to check the mail, sitting at his picnic table. We continue to pray for your comfort, peace, & strength, and hope that the words at John 5:28,29 & Revelation 21:4 will bring you comfort w/ God's promises to soon restore to life those who have died, in a world of restored peace, health, & happiness, a perfect world where there will be no more suffering or death. We really look forward to the day we'll see Marty again, happily sitting at his picnic table, enjoying the forest again.
