Obituary for Elizabeth Mae Comer (Collis)

Elizabeth Mae Collis Comer, 81, of Martinsburg, went to be with her Lord on December 3, 2017.

Born April 4, 1936 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Carl Collis and Pearl Eversole Collis.

Mrs. Comer was a retired inspector for Corning Glass Works and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by two grandchildren, Mandy and R.J. Comer; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons Dougie Miller, Charles E. Comer, Jr. and Rodney W. Comer; three brothers Arlie, Boyd, and Paul Collis; two sisters Marie Albright and Effie Ryan; and two grandchildren Bridget and Brent Comer.

A special thank you to her companion and friend of 40 years and also her loving caregiver, Forest Granville Faircloth.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor A.J. Roberts officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday.

Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
