Obituary for Elizabeth Marie Braithwaite (Gesford)

Elizabeth Marie (Gesford) Braithwaite, 93, of Martinsburg, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017.
Born June 12, 1924 in Berkeley Co., she was the daughter of the late Otho Clinton Gesford and Cecelia May (Stratiff) Gesford.
She was a member of Johnsontown Bible Church and well known for her embroidery.
She is survived by her son, Lloyd K. Baker, Jr.; granddaughter, Michelle Gaylor; three great-grandchildren, Marina Gaylor, Dylan Gaylor, and Jada Pryor; two great-great-grandchildren, Tristen and Tavin Voltz; and four brothers, John and wife Pam Gesford, Albert and wife Mary Jane Gesford, Marvin Gesford, and Theodore and wife Alice Gesford.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Lloyd Baker, Sr., second husband Robert Braithwaite; two sisters, Emma Robinson and Cecilia Grim; and seven brothers, George, Amos, Adolph, Clinton, Andy, Curtis, and Bernard Gesford.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Services will be held at Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 1:00PM at Brown Funeral Home Martinsburg with Rev. Jack Rudy officiating. Graveside will be at 3:30PM on Monday at the Manor Church Cemetery in Boonsboro MD.
