Obituary for Jack Edward "Poppy" Newcomb Jr.

Jack Edward "Poppy" Newcomb, Jr., 57, of Kearneysville passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born May 5, 1960, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Jack Edward Newcomb, Sr. and Margaret Virginia (Horner) Newcomb.

He was employed at National Fruit Company and was a veteran of the United States National Guard -167th Military Police.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Debra Kay Newcomb; one daughter, Tina Cogle; three sons, Paul Stanley, Jr., Marshall Stanley, and Samuel Stanley; seventeen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother Charles Newcomb; three sisters, Penny, Laura and Donna Newcomb.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Lucas; and one brother, William "Stanley" Newcomb. Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Faircloth officiating. Receiving one hour prior to the service.
