Obituary for Darla Miller (Moon)

Darla Miller, 78, of Martinsburg, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born September 2, 1939 in Berkeley Springs she was the daughter of the late Leslie Harrison Moon and Anna Grace Everett Moon.

She was a member of the Hedgesville Presbyterian Church.

She was retired from G.M. where she worked for over 30 years and Jefferson Mills Seamstress.

Darla was a member of the Eastern Panhandle Square Dancers and won dancer of the year in 2008. She loved to travel and doing things with her friends.

She is survived by one son, Robert Lee Miller, Jr.; two daughters, Kris Walker and husband Wes, and Dawn Huffman and husband John; five grandchildren, Robert Dustin Hartman, Leslie Nicol, Courtney Miller, Ethan Walker, and Wesley Walker; five great grandchildren, Mariana, Jacky, Radley, Tavian, and Lynneija Juarez.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Miller; one brother, Leslie Moon; and one sister Shera Fowler.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg. Receiving of friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430, Berkeley County Humane Society 554 Charles Town Rd., Martinsburg, WV, 25405 or Berkeley Senior Center 217 North High St., Martinsburg, WV 25404.
