Obituary for Robert Edward "Bobby" Glascock

Robert “Bobby” Edward Glascock, 71 of Harpers Ferry, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at his home under the care of hospice. Born March 30, 1946 in Warrenton, Virginia he was the son of the late Willie Marshall Glascock and Katherine Virginia Jenkins Glascock. He worked for the Loudoun County Schools, was a member of the Charles Town Moose Lodge #948. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Shupp Glascock at home, son, Charles Gray of Harpers Ferry, five daughters, Anna Spofford of Charles Town, Melissa Portrey of Harpers Ferry, Patricia Waddell and husband Alex of Bunker Hill, Melody Long and husband Andy and Robin Glascock, all of Stanton, Virginia, ten brothers and sisters, two grand-daughters and seven grandsons and one great grandchild. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Reverends Mary and Clifford Wilson officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
