Obituary for Ethel Frances Haines (Mangold)

Ethel Frances Haines, 84 of Bunker Hill passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 in the Hospice Inpatient Facility. Born January 28, 1933 in Keyser, WV she was the daughter of the late Burl Harrison Mangold and Dorothy Mae Simmons. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Bunker Hill. Before retiring she had worked for Badger Powhatan and the Crown Cork and Seal Co. Ethel had a talent for serving. She was a member of the Citizens Fire Company Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son, Harlan “Fuzzy” Haines of Bunker Hill, two grandsons, Harlan “Herman” Haines II of Bunker Hill and William “Willie” Haines and wife Kristi of Charles Town, two great grandchildren, Ryland Haines and Kaitlyn Kave, three brothers, Woodrow, Donald and James Mangold, two sisters, Thelma Riggleman and Delana Ramos.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Conway Haines, brothers Clyde, Ralph and Floyd Mangold, sisters, Ruby Barnhouse and Hazel Evans.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Brown Funeral Homes South Berkeley Chapel with the Pastor Tommy Henderson officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday.
