Obituary for Marion Kay Shipper (Moore)

Marion Kay Shipper, 83, of Martinsburg, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born November 29, 1933 in Hedgesville, she was the daughter of the late George Alexander Moore and Carrie Elizabeth (Hart) Moore.

She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church for over 50 years, and was a former member of Allensville Church of the Brethren. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Union Sales Dodge.

She is survived by her son, Dwight D. Shipper and wife, Nancy, of Martinsburg; two grandsons, Ben and Sonny Cunningham; and nephew, William D. Moore and wife, Mary Kate; and Significant other, Clifford Grove.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Shipper, two brothers, Earl T. and William H. Moore; and sister, Gertrude E. Moore.

Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Cantley officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
