Obituary for Robert Lee "Bobby" Hardy

Robert Lee Hardy, “Bobby” Hardy 56, of Martinsburg Went home to be with the Lord Friday, October 6, 2017 while in Clary Grove.
Born December 12, 1960, in Charles Town, he was the son of Joy Lee Hardy of Martinsburg, and the late Paul Ellsworth Hardy, Sr.
Bobby had worked as a heavy equipment operator in northern Virginia.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Kathleen Lanham Hardy; two sons, Robert Lee “Lil Bob” Lanham wife Rebecca Anne and Daniel William “Boon” Hardy and finance Shannon Viands, all of Martinsburg; two sisters, Betty Jane Connors and Joanne Hardy, both of Winchester; six grandchildren, Bethany Hope, Lexie, Levi, Landen and Ashley Nichole Lanham and Summer Lynn Hardy.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Lee Lanham; his brother, Paul Ellsworth Hardy, Jr. and his sister, Lucy Louise Hardy.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Floyd “Bucky” Chapman officiating. Interment will be the Mt. Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Chapel.
