Obituary for Barry Randolph Williams

Barry Randolph Williams 68, of Martinsburg passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at 9:53pm at the Berkeley County Medical Center in Martinsburg when he lost his battle with cancer.
Born August 8, 1949 in Silver Spring, MD.He was the son of the late Hugh Paul and Margret Augusta Williams (Bean)

He leaves to cherish his memories three Daughters, Brenda Lewis and husband David of Jacksonville Florida, Christine Chambers and husband Clifford of Germantown Md.,and Dana Dennis and husband Tim of Martinsburg, VW. Two son’s Barry Williams Jr. and Wife Dawn,Thomas Williams and wife Jamie and thirteen Grandchildren Samantha Lewis,Melissa White,Michael Hoes, DayShawn Chambers, Ikea Williams,Callie Nelson,Amanda Dennis,Cody Lamb,Neveahac Williams, Brittany,John,Eric and DJ Donivan, Four Brother’s two proceeded in death Joseph Williams (Dukey) Walter D. Williams (Bukey) Russell Williams(Rusty) of Hagerstown Md, and Hugh Williams Jr. (Sonny) Four sisters proceeded in death Patricia Williams (Betty),Nancy Cathcart,Cathy Williams and Shirley Williams (Sissy).and a host of family and friends. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife Sherilyn Jean Williams (Johnson).

Barry attended the Montgomery County School System and started working various jobs until he was introduced to auto mechanics.

Barry meet and married the love of his life Sherilyn Jean Williams in August 1968 and they had five children together.

Barry resided in Montgomery County until the late 80’s when he and his wife purchased their home in Martinsburg, WV where they remained until their deaths.

Barry was a hardworking family man who enjoyed helping others, he always told a joke or two from time to time. He worked as a truck driver for many years and was even recognized by his latest employer as hard working and a dedicate employee.

Barry recently retired from Barron’s Lumber in Gaitherburg, MD.in January of 2017 before he became ill. Barry enjoyed going to car shows, working on cars and spending time with family. He was a great provider and always thinking of someone else. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services for Barry Williams will be held on Thursday, October 5th 2017 at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel In Inwood. At 1:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Gerrardstown Presbyterian Cemetery.
