Obituary for James William "Ish" Parker

James William "Ish" Parker, 90, of Martinsburg, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born March 14, 1927 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Joseph Matthew Parker and Elsie Pearl Cook Parker.

Mr. Parker was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean War. Later, he became a fishing boat pilot.

He is survived by his son, Clarence "Bowie" Boyd of Charles Town; niece, Olivia K. White of Kearneysville; great nephews; and a host of great-great-nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
