Obituary for Darlene Sadie Hostler (Frye)

Darlene Sadie Frye Hostler, 63 of Charles Town passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at her home. Born December 1, 1953 in Charles Town, she was the daughter of the late Carl Robert Frye and Gertrude Corder Frye. She worked as the kitchen manager at the Charles Town Race Track for 18 years.

She is survived by her husband, David Hostler, two sons, Richard Hostler and wife Darlene of Bunker Hill and Kenneth Hostler and wife Maria of Harpers Ferry, one daughter, Regina Hostler and companion Allen Edwards of Ranson, one brother, Jerry Frye of Winchester, Virginia and nine grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Joe Frye.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Jefferson Chapel with the Dr. Henry Christie officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
