Ronald Joe Cowan, 64, of Martinsburg passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.

Born March 13, 1953 in Kittanning, PA he was the son of the late Ray Cowan and Jennie Sarah (Baum) Cowan

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was an alumnus of West Virginia University.

He is survived by his wife, Jamia Marie (Gilinger) Cowan; one brother, Bradley Cowan; and one sister, Janet E. Cowan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Dean Cowan and Donald Ray Cowan; one sister, Delores Mae Cowan.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
