Obituary for W. Everett Foster

W. Everett Foster, 94, of Gerrardstown passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the VA Medical Center.

Born April 1, 1923 in Laurel, MD he was the son of the late Marcus Sherman Foster and Annie Lorraine Nichols Foster.

He was a veteran of the US Army having served during World War II. He was a member of Assembly of God.

He is survived by three sons, Carroll Lee Foster and wife, Caroline, Delane E. Foster and wife, Sabrina, Timothy W. Foster and wife, Carolyn; two daughters, Wilma J. Hess, Patricia A. Linaburg; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Gilbert Lee Foster and wife, Polly; and four sisters, Janie Mae Dusing and husband, Jerry, Joyce Whitacre and husband, Jack, Judy Parker, and Geraldine Landes.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Pearl Orr Foster; and three sisters, Thelma Manuel, Ann Hess, and Betty Moore.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 2:00PM at the South Berkeley Chapel with Pastor David Palmer officiating. Military graveside service will be in Butler's Chapel Cemetery.
