Obituary for Roger Lee "Boss" Keesecker

Roger  Lee "Boss"  Keesecker
Roger Lee Keesecker ("Boss"), 77, of Inwood, WV, passed away at Hospice of the Panhandle on August 7, 2017.

Born November 24, 1939 in Martinsburg, WV, he was the son of the late Clifford and Delsey Basore Keesecker.

He was of Presbyterian faith. He owned his own Excavating business and helped run a dairy farm for many years. He also worked at Kelly Tires for 10 years and retired from Capitol Cement (formally Essroc) after 40 years.

He is survived by his two daughters, Lisa Duvall and her husband, Rick, of Inwood, and Mechelle Mason and her husband, Rodney, of Martinsburg and sister-in-law, Debbie Keesecker Combs, of Inwood; five grandchildren Amanda Calhoun, Thomas Duvall, Jessica Lira and husband Camilo, Tyler Mason, Brandon Mason and four great-grandchildren James Calhoun, Alana Lira, Camilo Lira and Davian Lira. A dear friend Nancy and many others that he like to drive around and visit, and his favorite protective cat Miney.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Freda Keesecker, and two sons Roger A. Keesecker and Galyen Keesecker, and two brothers, Eddie Keesecker and Larry Keesecker.

Receiving of friends will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Brown Funeral Homes South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood, WV.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 1:00PM at South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Pastor Vernon Bray officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430 and Berkeley County Humane Society, 554 Charles Town Rd. Martinsburg, WV 25405.
