Obituary for Sandra Ellen "Sandy" Norton (Castleman)
Sandra "Sandy" Ellen Norton, 75, of Inwood, went to be with to be the Lord, with her loving husband and family by her side, on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
Sandy was born in Martinsburg on June 17, 1942, to the late Fred and Mazeanna Castleman.
A lifelong active member of Winchester Avenue Christian Church, Sandy rarely met a stranger. She shared her gifts and sense of humor and love of people and to know her was to know love. She was a wonderful wife, mother, friend, and grandmother with an unyielding love for children and grandchildren.
Sandra will be greatly missed by her best friend and loving husband of 52 years, Ronald, son David (Amy), daughter Cheryl Cook (Charles), son Robert (Vickana), and grandchildren: Joshua, whom she raised, Allyssa, Dante', River and Damon.
The Celebration for Sandy Norton's life will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00AM at Winchester Avenue Christian Church in Martinsburg. Visitation will be from 10:00AM to 11:00AM prior to services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Winchester Avenue Christian Church, 400 Winchester Ave., Martinsburg, WV 25401.
