Obituary for Patricia Ann "Patsy" Kilmer (Crawford)

Patricia "Patsy" Ann Crawford Kilmer, 70, of Inwood, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at her home in the arms of her loving husband.

Born July 29, 1946 in Martinsburg, WV she is the daughter of Catherine Louise Stewart Crawford and the late James Donald Crawford.

Patsy had been the assessor for Berkeley County. She was a member of Christ Reformed Evangelical Church and a 1964 graduate of Martinsburg High School. She was also a member of the Daughter of the Nile and Order of the Eastern Star Golden Rule #69 Martinsburg.

She was very loving and enjoyed taking care of her children, grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Max.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband of 51 years, Martin Kilmer; one son, James Mercer and wife, Waltraud; two daughters, Laura Ann Barrow and husband, Paul T. Barrow, Jr., Kathy Jo Wright and husband, David E. Wright; nine grandchildren, Andreas Kilmer, Karoline Kilmer and husband, Kenny, Jamie Kilmer, Ryan Barrow and wife, Katie, Hillary Barrow, Phillip Barrow, James Wright, Jonathan Wright, and Sarah Wright; and two sisters, Karen Louise Ettinger and Pamela Jean Durst.

Patsy had been looking forward to the birth of her first great-granddaughter due in August, Lilly Anne Barrow.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 1:30PM at the Brown Funeral Home with her grandson, Ryan Barrow officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:30PM to 1:30PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
