Condolences

Condolence From: Mrs. Edwards
Condolence: Please except my deepest condolences on the passing of you dear loved one, I pray that your family will find comfort in the God of all comfort Jehovah. I too have felt the sting of death and although it's never easy to say goodbye to those we love, I was able to find much hope in Gods word the bible. Isaiah 33:24 And no resident will say:"I am sick" The people dwelling in the land will be pardoned for their error. John 5:25 "Most truly I say to you the hour is coming and it is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who paid attention will live. Revelation 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away... What a wonderful time we all have to look forward to when no one will never again get sick or die.

Condolence: Our deepest sympathy to your family. Kenny was a man who lived every second of his life to the fullest. We have fond memories of the many years we all did the Apple Butter Festival in Berkeley Springs (rain or shine!). We shared our stories and had so much fun and laughter. And, NO ONE makes apple butter like you all! The world is a better place because of Kenny. He will be missed by many. Love and prayers, Cheryl & Tony Lawrence

Condolence: Kenneth Sims was an amazing man who touched many lives. I had the pleasure of working with Kenny as a substitute teacher in Morgan County Schools. He was a teacher well-loved and colleague much- appreciated. Kenny and Evelyn showed me and my late husband great kindness while my husband battled a terminal illness. They were both so kind to me when my husband passed. I have made a donation in honor & memory of Kenny to the Morgan County Public Library.

Condolence: I was so blessed to have met Mr. Sims while I was teaching at Hedgesville Elementary. He never ceased to amaze me with the stories he shared about himself when he was a teacher. There's not one child at HES whom didn't love this wonderful man. He read stories they loved in such a way that it seemed as though they were watching a play rather than being read to. As a teacher, I always stopped what I was doing and joined my students to simply listen to this artful reader. I loved and cherished those moments. He had a way of making me feel like we were stepping back in time when I was a kid in school. The school as a whole will dearly miss this fine man. We'll honor his memory by reading the stories he loved and telling some "Mr. Sims stories" throughout the year; especially at holiday time. God needed you, so I know you're happy and peaceful now. I'll miss your smile and being able to talk to you, but this is the Lord's Plan to be followed. God Bless this wonderful family.

Condolence: I'm so truly sorry. My heart hurts for the pain of your loss. Since Jesus compared death to sleep (John 11:11-14), something that brings me comfort is knowing that there is no cozier & safer place to be than taking a 'nap' in God's memory until the time he promises to awake these loved ones we have lost in death to be reunited with us (John 15:28,29), right here on an earth restored to his original purpose of perfect peace, health, & happiness (Psalm 37:11). And the fact that He then promises to get rid of death forever, tenderly wiping away all the tears it has caused (Isaiah 25:8), so we never have to worry about losing our beloved ones again. What a beautiful day that is to look forward to, being able to once again hold these ones we love & miss so dearly in our arms, & be held in their arms again too, & to know we can then do so under such perfect conditions forever. (Psalm 37:29) I pray God gives you comfort & peace to get through until that time. It's just around the corner. Every day that passes is one day closer. Sending hugs.
