Obituary for Roger Eugene Barthlow

Roger Eugene Barthlow, 67, of Hagerstown passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017.

Born December 15, 1949 in Hagerstown, MD he is the son of step-father, Ross "Jimmie" Roberts and the late Belmont Barthlow and Armeda Morris Roberts.

He had been employed with Capitol Cement.

He was a four year veteran of the US Air Force and seventeen years from the Air National Guard.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon Palmer Barthlow; one son, Kevin Barthlow; one daughter, Lynn Willis and husband, Michael; seven grandchildren, Joshua Barthlow and wife, Jillian, Summer Ratcliff, Joseph Eberspacher, Alecksis Palmer, Elizabeth Barthlow, Kailey Barthlow, and Bradyn Barthlow; one great-grandchild, Charlotte Barthlow; one step-sister, Cheryl Metz and husband, Chuck; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory Barthlow.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11:00AM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Ralph Adams officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
