David Scott Sanbower, 75, of Inwood, passed away in the care of INOVA Hospital, Fairfax, VA on Sunday, July 2, 2017 from injuries sustained in an accident at his home on July 1st.

Born July 22, 1941 in Sykesville, MD he was the son of the late David and Helene Buhrman Sanbower.

Scott proudly served in the US Navy for 3 years. He retired from Oracle (Computer Technician at Internal Revenue Service, Martinsburg) on May 10, 2007.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Linda C. Swope Sanbower; son, Alan Sanbower and his girlfriend, Sara Davids; daughter, Cynthia Ann Johnson and her husband, Rick; and son, Randall Hugh Sanbower and wife, Donya; four grandchildren, Craig Sanbower, Tyler Sanbower, Jacob Benner, and Rachael Legg and her husband, Cody; three great-grandsons, Cane Sanbower, Sonny Sanbower, and Landon Legg; and a sister, Linda.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Sanbower.

Per Scott's wishes services and interment will be private.

Family requests memorial donations may be to Disabled Veterans Fund.
